A food elevator delivers Thai BBQ chicken (Gai Yang) tacos to patrons on a will-call basis. The menu pays homage to the Thai background of the architect, as well as recognizing the mash-up culture of both the food and arts scene in LA.
Pomona College will celebrate the opening of its new Studio Art Hall, on Oct. 11, with a range of performances, art activities and installations, curated by Mark Allen, founder of Machine Project and chair of the College’s Art Department. The festivities will be held from 2 p.m. to approximately 8 p.m. at the Studio Art Hall, 370 N. Columbia Ave., Claremont. A formal dedication ceremony at 1:30 p.m. will begin the events.
